Convert Exchange EDB Files to Outlook PST files

An EDB file or Exchange Database file is basically database file of Exchange Server. This database file contains user mailboxes created in your MS Outlook profile. However, there are times when you want to convert your Exchange Database (EDB) files to more usable MS Outlook Personal Storage (PST) files in order to access mailboxes stored in your EDB file. Thus, at that situation you are required to opt for reliable third-party EDB to PST converter software.

Suppose you are a system administrator of an organization. Let us understand some very prominent scenarios due to which you need to convert the EDB files to PST files and require EDB to PST conversion software:

  • You need to take down the Exchange Server of your organization for maintenance. At this situation all the user mailboxes become inaccessible thus, you have to convert EDB files to PST files.
  • An employee from your organization is migrating to another branch and he needs to access his Outlook mailbox data there. At this situation, you have to convert his particular mailbox to his individual PST file which he can easily import there to his Outlook mailbox.
  • Suppose, it is the policy of your organization to take the backup of the mailboxes of ex-employees before removing their account from the Exchange Server then you are required to convert their mailboxes to PST files.
  • If higher authorities of your organization want to check the mailbox of an employee then you have to convert his EDB file on server to easily importable PST file.

With above mentioned scenarios there can be various other cases due to which you want to convert EDB to PST. Thus, to do this task easily you need an efficient EDB to PST converter. One of the highly recommended and reliable software to convert EDB to PST file is EDB to PST Converter.
